How do we have a Minimum wage and deny that minimum wage to Waiters ?
Our IRS even projects a higher income for waiters despite what they put down on their tax returns ?
With the increased use of Credit cards some owners of restaurants do not give their waiters the tips.
Waiters have to be responsive to the patrons and the owner of the restaurant.
Solution:
Give by law the minimum wage to waiters and one charge for food and drink and one charge that goes to the waiters personal account. This insures the waiter is paid for their service and is reported to the IRS.
