Problem: The United States has no reproductive policy. More children are born out of wedlock than in wedlock. We have underage children of 16 having babies receiving funding for the cost of delivery and support payments for the babies upbringing. We have television shows “16 and pregnant “ normalizing this behavior. We now have women in their 20’s and 30’s that just want a child without a father.
I believe that raising a child is one of the most important functions in a society’s future success, yet our society creates no prerequisite conditions for this to occur, not marriage, not maturity level, not financial condition, not even educational level. Even requiring prenatal care and a course on child development would be challenged by some.
Solutions: Just discussing a reproductive policy in the United States appears to be Taboo.
There seems to be no policy solutions that I can think of that a majority of people would agree on being implemented.
The majority of citizens would agree a young person should get an education first, a Job second, an apartment third, meet your sweetheart fourth, get married fifth, and have a baby sixth. How we turn this logical timeline into a policy seems an impossible dream for humans.

In the course of the first 10,000 years of human existence the human population when from 2 to 700 Million
In the course of the last 200 years the human population has gone from 700 Million to 7 Billion (10 times)
At the current time we consume per person 10 times what a human consumed 200 years ago.
That means we are utilizing 100 times more resources than the population did 200 years ago.
Fishing production from the oceans peaked in 1996. Agricultural land food production peaked in 2000.
The earth’s warming will melt the polar ice caps and flood the sea level cities of the world.
We have two alternative delusions offered to us by the Conservative and Liberal Religions of the world.
The Conservatives believe in finding more oil and gas that will save the World. Not changing is not a solution !
VS
the Liberals who want to use “clean energy” Solar, Wind and Biomass to save the World
The Solar and wind alternatives are extremely energy intensive to create and they do not have a long enough useful life to represent a net energy gain. While burning biomass (burning trees and tires and garbage ) is not only polluting but killing the earth’s natural Carbon sequestration machine Plants (which take in CO2 and give us Oxygen to breath.
Electric Cars ? Where do you think the energy came from to make the car ? Do you know how much energy it took to make those batteries and what do you do with them every 5 years ? Are you aware that we are electrochemical beings who should be aware enough to know not to sleep with electric blankets or to sleep next to your electrical outlet at home. Would you buy a home under a power line ?
Let’s all go to Space ? We are all human beings that are dependent on the magnetic resonance of earth for our molecules to function properly. The Soviets found this out when they sent monkeys into space. We need a Shulman resonance machine to create the magnetic resonance of earth in order for our bodies to function in space. We could save a few billionaires while the rest of us languish on earth providing the needed raw materials for the rich ?
We have the most beautiful spaceship in the universe – it is earth !
Solution: Stop reproduction to curtail population growth and reduce energy consumption while radically changing our belief systems.
